This device is sometimes called a centrifugal separator, a centrifugal filter, a liquid cyclone separator, etc. Although it has many names, there are not many products that effectively " separate" and " filter " (2-in-1) in the industry. Filstar uses centrifugal (cyclone) force to separate solids (impurities, sludge, metal chips, waste particles, etc. ) from the fluid and filter unwanted solids out the drain.

Filstar has no elements so it's maintenance free, cost saving and has very long durability. What makes filstar different from other cyclone separators is that the liquid does not flow backward even if the drain outlet is closed. The solids are kept forced down by three unique internal structures (patent pending) therefore, the solids do not get circulated continuously.
